Wow! Another great show at Top Drawer London. This time round it was a show not to be missed because it was two shows for the price of one. Home London offered inspiring selection of stylish, high quality interior accessories from design companies in the UK and Europe! The children’s section seem to have more exciting and new brands and we was delighted to meet up with the designers too. We fell in love with everything but we came away with some cool companies on our beeniebuds&co wish list. Kidsonroof a very creative dutch brand that sells creative and playful products for kids and adults alike. Great Casa collection which is recycled cardboard mobile homes and space rockets too, a fab way for little ones to expand their imaginative minds. Also the collectors house a great way to display your fab finds. Then there is Fill & Tell a Sweden brand that have these highly creative books with lovely illustrations which allows you to store your memorable moments in book about me and for my grandchild. If you love your biscuits with your tea and these cute pillows by Nikki Mc Williams might work as well too. All hand printed cushions inspired by Britain’s favourite tea-time accompaniments. Love them. We are looking forward to the next show and do lookout for more posts on our wish list finds.
I grew up reading Ladybird classic books and now my little beeniebud is enjoying them too but on our iPad! The creators of the award-winning The Land of Me, Made in Me have designed Me Books! Ladybird classic books come to life via a really cool app. We downloaded ours last week and the first book included was The Zoo, then you can then start building your own collection with other classic titles like The Three Little Pigs, Gingerbread Man and much more.
The titles are narrated from well-known celebrities. There is more you can interact with the hotspots that are available throughout the book. You can do what we done and recorded our own voices and made some cool sound effects. Suitable for children of 3+, our little beeniebud is 17 months and loves to play with us on the iPad. We totally love this app and looking forward to added more classic titles to our collection.
Watch the video below, to find out more about Me Books. Available to buy for the iPad, iPhone and iPod here.

Christmas in July you say? Well kind of. I was invited to attend the ELC and Mothercare Christmas In July Press Show. It really felt like Christmas with all the lovely toys, clothing and gift sets available to see. There were some old favourites like the Blossom Farm Toys, that are updated with new colours and textures. The light and sound retro robot was my favourite, along with the other activity toys for under 12 month olds. The star of the show was HappyLand, showcased in a art gallery format for everyone to see. It did catch my eye when I first walked in. I’m looking forward to seeing this range in store and I think my little ones Christmas list has just gotten bigger!
