new brand :: bieq

Autumn has arrived…and bieq has arrived in our online store. We first saw this cool brand at the Playtime Paris AW12 show this year. bieq is a Dutch label started by Angelique Roelofsen a few years ago because of her passion for handicrafts. It evokes nostalgia and shows the care and attention with which it has been made. Her brand sells completely handknitted items only, everything made from 100% pure merino wool. Merino garments are light weight, breath well and are non-irritant to the skin.Those are all important qualities, especially for toddlers and babies. We are delighted to have this great brand to our collection of other cool brands. Available to buy here

We found this lovely brand at Playtime Paris in January and we ♥ Waddler collection. Our favourtie is the Alpaca Fur Hat super soft!

Phew! What an exciting weekend we had, with all these great shows. Our finally stop was at Playtime Paris and it sure was a magical one. We loved and wanted everything in sight but we took some photos of our favourite finds. The event was filled with colours, and lovely designs. There was some great up and coming brands like Macarons a great blend of luxurious organic and fair trade textiles with a clean design. The very cute brand My Name Is Simone was a delight to see, a lovely range of plush toys and tote bags. You don’t find a lot of hand knitted treats anyone, we liked this Dutch brand called bieq handknits. A range of hats, clothes and accessories, made with 100% pure merino wool. The very stylish Sons + Daughters eyewear for little ones was fun. We shall be reviewing all of our finds and getting back with ones we will be selling in our beeniebuds&co online store. We had a fun day and little beeniebud enjoying every moment : )

playtime paris / bubble london weekend

We have a packed weekend ahead and we are looking forward to all of it! First stop Bubble London which we will be attending on Sunday! Looking forward to seeing some really nice new brands and also some old brands (and friends). Then on Monday our little family is going off for the day to lovely Paris to visit Playtime Paris, I’m pretty sure we are going to found some real nice brands there too.
