Our lovely friend Kate over at Toosta MacGinty  shared this amazing find wth us. Yuko Lau has designed a series of  peek-a-boo animals which are bold, colourful and different from the children art you see around. Check out this video here where YukoLau is talking about her work and what inspires her! Enjoy.

TulpKids DeskHouse

What a great desk for budding young artist in the making. I first saw this lovely Desk House  here. Simply designed, the roof acts as a desk for drawing and painting or a perfect hideaway!

The chimney makes the house complete, made from solid oak, this can be used for a convenient storage for crayons. Such a cool site with lots more amazing things. Totally in love…

make art, make mistakes

MOMA Art BooksI’m really looking forward to my little ones first art piece, and I am always wondering if she will take after her Mummy and Daddy and enjoy Graphic Design! The Design Museum Shop always have some really fun books including this one Make Art/ Make Mistakes by MOMA.

A colourful and lively sketchbook that lets the little ones imagation run free, with famous quotations and information on how to use colour, texture towards their final art piece.
