beeniebuds_review_ella

We was very happy to find out that Ella’s Kitchen have created a cookbook for babies to 5 year olds. 100 tasty, healthy recipes for kids that range from the easiest of snacks and light meals that can be rustled up in minutes to delicious and satisfying dinners. Interesting twists and clever shortcuts, such as Quickly Does it Quiche and Wonderful Watermelon Ice, make life as easy as possible for busy parents.

A key aspect of the book is emphasis is on involving kids as much as possible and helping to build a positive relationship with food. Ella s Kitchen fully encourages kids to get hands-on and as messy as possible in order to discover food with all their senses. Myself and little beeniebud had a great time making very berry smoothies, for breakfast. (Great anytime of the day)

We love fruit and it was fun getting all the ingredients prepared. It’s a great start on getting little beeniebud to understand about cooking. The cookbook includes fun things to do like colouring-in activities and a range of stickers that kids can use to mark recipes they love or have made themselves. Kids will love it as much as their parents do!

ella’s kitchen new cereal delights…

ellas kitchen cereal products..

A great start to the day is breakfast, right? Well our friends at Ellas’s Kitchen have a new cereal range. Our little beeniebud is 2 years and the other cereal brands still have a high percent of sugar. That’s why we love the Ella’s Kitchen Wakey Wakey Round Ones 100% scrummy melt in the mouth cereal, with 2 different Round Ones. Packed with organic multigrains and a hint of vanilla and not even the tiniest smidge of refined sugars. Delicious with milk or add yoghurt and fruit for a tasty morning treat. We think this is great for breakfast and snacking. We have a winner. Yay!

With this yummy product was a packet of sunflower seeds ready to sow. So Mr beeniebud suggested that we should start  little beeniebuds first planting project. We went out and got some little people gardening tools that are fun, bright and cheap! Little beeniebud loves the garden and enjoyed planting with mummy and getting her hands dirty.

We love a sing-song here and nursery  rhymes are part of our daily routine. So we was very excited to receive the new Tasty Tunes by Ella’s Kitchen. Rachel Stevens is the voice behind Tasty Tunes. The songs are familiar to the classic nursery rhymes so it was easy to sing along. Little beeniebud loves her fruit and vegetables so it was easy for her to pick out her favourite ones. If you would like to download your own Tasty Tunes click here for more information.

Take a peek at our behind the scenes footage of the making of Tasty Tunes below:
